I gave up on the Lapdock 500 for now once I found the Atrix Lapdock being sold for . The Atrix Lapdock doen't have any of the dumb restrictions that the Lapdock 500 has, so I was able to easily get it working with any HDMI device. The display on this one is a little washed out and has terrible viewing angles, but for it was worth it as a second display for my laptop while I'm traveling.
