This could also be done by sending the OS image over WiMax, but that is not very fast. For an IDF demo, you could set up one workstation on one side of Moscone, and another on the other side of the hall. One workstation would have a script that essentially formats the C: drive, and a big sign that says "Break Windows Here". The other side would have a script that allows you to restore the remote machine with a big sign that says "Fix Windows Here". Use flashing lights where appropriate. We would highly recommend hanging an old fashioned multi-paned window high above the demo area with some nerf balls to throw at the window to break the "windows" For the demo, WiFi might be faster than WiMax, but either one will do.
