It was freakin cold in our control shack at work when I recorded this.... Here is a video showing the custom mapping of my Akai APC 40 and four LPD 8 controllers. I custom mapped all of these to be used with Traktor Scratch Pro. I have well over 40 hours invested in making this setup a Traktor killing machine. The full setup including my laptop will all fit in my Mono 365 DJ Backpack including all cables and adapters. My mixer will not fit of course. You will not see any other setup like this!!!! My full setup includes a Behringer DDM4000 mixer but I do not have it with me when I travel for work. Traktor has a great internal mixer so it really is not a big deal when I can't bring my mixer. I mostly have my mixer because it is 4 channels and loaded full of midi that is organized very well. --Recorded via my Samsung Captivate from AT&T--

All my tests were on a 2011 Mac Mini using Firewire 800, USB 2.0 or Thunderbolt. The drives on the firewire and thunderbolt tests were 7200 rpm drives while the USB was only 5400. To make sure I was getting the best speeds, I also tested in on a MacBook Air and found similar results. On a faster (Solid State?) drive, the numbers would be more spread out. While there was not a huge difference between the firewire and thunderbolt drives, not many have firewire and compared to USB, it was a HUGE leap in speed.

I did not think there would be an issue with the power plugs because I have been using travel adapters that work great with all my other electronics but for some reason when I plugged my xbox 360 into the travel adapter and then into the wall socket.... my power supply blew up..... no color from the LED indicator light.... no activity at all what so ever..... I thought i was screwed but I called up the Microsoft support line here in Ireland and they were able to help me out. So ill have to send my bad power supply in using a label they email to me and then a new one will come that will work with my console here in Ireland. Word of the wise..... Do not use a travel adapter with your us xbox 360 as it has a chance of blowing up the power supply and could possibly damage your XBOX 360!!!!!!!!!!!!!
