Please subscribe! It would really help me out! Also, Check out my written reviews over at www.MAOreviews.blogspot.com This is the seagate thunderbolt adapter review that was announced at the beginning of the year. All my tests were on a 2011 Mac Mini using Firewire 800, USB 2.0 or Thunderbolt. The drives on the firewire and thunderbolt tests were 7200 rpm drives while the USB was only 5400. To make sure I was getting the best speeds, I also tested in on a MacBook Air and found similar results. On a faster (Solid State?) drive, the numbers would be more spread out. While there was not a huge difference between the firewire and thunderbolt drives, not many have firewire and compared to USB, it was a HUGE leap in speed.
